Between 70% and 80% of the manufacturing of each Vasco & Gama piece is strictly manual. Our internal frames, cross-waterproofing, and leather selection remain family secrets, executed under the watchful eye of 12 Iberian and French Master Craftsmen.
Our Materials
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Hand-selected without aggressive chemicals. The natural markings of the hide are preserved as proof of authenticity.
Solid Brass
Heavy hardware, immune to saline oxidation, forged to last generations.
Care and Maintenance
Our pieces require the same respect with which they were created.
Strictly hand wash (max. 30°C). Delicate cycle. Air dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Hydrate the leather annually with natural balm.

Each item carries the name of one of our 12 Master Craftsmen. They are not employees; they are the guardians of a century-old trade. 7 Portuguese, 4 Spanish, and 1 French. When you verify your code, you discover the hands that forged your piece.
